If you have something for it.. Please bring it on.. LOL! You name another N/A 6-speed Vette in Texas thats been better then Matt's 10.5... Hell name any 6spd NA F-body thats been faster than my brother (other than T56 and SAM).
Like I said.. We COULD do that if we WANTED to, but we did not. We did not plan on running John that night. Hell we didn't know he was coming until we had made one motor pass and were getting ready to make an n2o pass.

Well since I havent made a post or read the post till now, I really wasnt or didnt plan on racing John's crapbox lol 
. I really wanted a 9 sec pass on nitrous but after heating up the nitrous bottle and buy 6 gallons of race gas to make my half a tank of pump gas safe for nitrous god didnt want things to go right. On top of that my car didnt even get out of the hole worth DICK, John can bitch about his 1.6 all day long but **** my 1.79 alot worse. I will admit I did red light, I started to slip the clutch after the 2nd amber hoping to cut a good reaction time. I failed at that 
. John did come around me alittle passed the 1000' foot mark and he put maybe a car on me maybe alittle less. I came out with an 11.081@130 far from my best, hell thats actaully the worst pass ever with me on et streets. I know the car will go a low 10 when I am on the motor set up but last week everything was set up for nitrous, gas, timeing, nitrous bottle, shocks, a/f. I never said my car was faster then John but I do think I will give him a good race from a roll.

My car is alot diffrent than his keep in mind I have more miles on my 427 than John does on his car!! I have a 6 speed with a 3:42 gear John has a built auto with a big stall and 3:90 gear. John also has more cubic inchs, a way better set of heads, and a way bigger cam. His car was stripped out with no exhaust, one seat and in full racecar mode. Mine had 3/4 a tank of gas, both seats, and full exhaust.

Hey at least these guys are actually racing corvettes! They are probably some of the only vette guys in america that actually show up to race. I want to see that three way race between LP and John and Mike!

No i'm just questioning how LP's car is slow just because MTI built it? When we've built LS6 headed 427's that make the same power as Landers with less cubes, cam, and compression..... Oh yeah because our customers don't get on forums and actually go to a track where turing/downshifting (skill) is involved... lol just messing with ya john....
Hahahaha, quite a few excuses! John does have a bigger cam although I don't know about the compression as I didn't put anywhere near what they wanted in that engine. It has full dished pistons. I don't know how much difference 5-6 inches make either but that's probably next to nothing. John also has normal tension 1/16, 1/16, 3/16 rings and a heavy *** Eagle 55 pound crank and 680 gram old school Eagle SBC H-Beam boat anchor rods! I bet LP has a much higher pimp style rotating assembly! I could pick up John 20hp just with modern rings! That engine was built in the old days and still makes 570 through an automatic with pump gas and a hydraulic roller!

I love my HKE Engine. Eric redid my 402 and it runs better than ever.
On a side note Franks car is already close to being fired up. Can you say 600 RWHP NA out of a 408!!!
