I agree, but still... This is a nice car. Clean, fairly low miles, has the typical upgrades one would want to do anyways...and, it has WARRANTY!!
Also, almost new brakes and some suspension upgrades!! I think it's worth $25k. Dealership offered $22500 on trade for it and I know they don't take in cars to lose money on them!

If that's a concern to anyone, I think I still have the pulley remover kit that I could "possibly" throw in

It's been taken in to the dealership as is when the alternator died. I know that's not powertrain related but most of them don't give a crap...the car is meant to have more power than what they give you stock

I believe that Ford has to prove that the extra power is what broke something. Many of the dealerships won't even go through the hassle because Ford will still pay them to fix the problem whether they report you or not. They're making money one way or another...based on how crappy car sales have been lately, they need to make some money somewhere!

My cousin worked for ford as a tech. They have this lighting come in engine is fubar. The customer wants to warranty it out. Well another one of our buddies had just got his *** drug by that truck in his "farm truck". He said there was no way a stock lighting could beat him. So they go to investgate. They found holes drilled in the bed. Main Nitrous line and bottle mount holes. So they tell the guy hell no we warranty this. you blew your **** up on the bottle. He just comes and picks up his truck. I am sure he went elsewhere and got it taken care of. They would of never caught that 99 out of 100 times.
in other words your warranty should be fine at most dealers.
