This year will graduate with a BA in Psychology at UT-Austin at 22 years.

Next year will start to work toward Masters in Education Adminsistration at UNT--will graduate at 24 years.

Future future goal--Masters in Education in Higher Administration and Instruction from undecided University (hopefully before 30).

PhD? I'll never rule it out.

I take about 6-9 hours a semester. I am 22 right now at HCC and only have around 45 hours. Sucks I know. I am starting to feel so old but I will not give up, I could not imagine not having a college degree! Keep going strong!!!

are you retarded?

I know that I waited till the last minute, bc i missed the early registration deadline. After November the earliest that I was eligible to sign up was jan 7th*today*. At texas state, Everyone can sign up for classes at different days/times.

if you RE READ MY FIRST POST AGAIN it says that I will sign up early from now on.

what do you not understand?

Also, I know that the classes im looking at will transfer VIA the course equivalency page for texas state. No counselor needed.

I'm 22 and still have at least another 1 1/2yrs left...and plan on getting my masters after that. ughh changing schools, never taking summer school and switching majors hasnt helped me speed up the process! All i can say is everyone is different, sometimes i feel like a slacker when i compare myself to some of my friends who are about to graduate this may. But as long as you get that degree then thats all that matters! At least you are settled down at Texas State, i'm still trying to figure out where I want to finish up!

Default Don't EVER give up

My old friends used to complain about how they had no time for school and that it would take forever just going a few classes at a time, so they never went.

I told them, many years down the road I can look back and say either:
"Gee. I'll never finish college just taking a few classes at a time. What's the point?" .. with no degree
or
"Wow. I'm glad I stuck with it because now I'm graduating." .. with a degree.

Either way, time will go on and you'll be living in your future - either with a degree or without one.

Prepare for your future because some day you will live in it.

Also, some employers (the only kind I would consider working for) respect a persons self discipline and perseverance to put themselves through school while working. It's not just about the piece of paper or what you're studying. it's also about setting a goal and seeing it through no matter what.
