forged motor?
ok can someone tell me about how much would i be looking at to forged a motor... i shot a piston in my 02 camaro so i want to rebuild with a forged motor... iam new to this part so can someone tell me what all do i need and about how much am i looking at, can i do all of this for under 3000 big ones.
i was going to a 6.0 but i think iam going to just do a forged motor i have a torquer cam and plan on adding heads and no more then a 200 shot so what all would i need to do to make sure everything is safe or works out . thanks!

best bet is to go to a junkyard, pull the motor out of a wrecked Avalanche or Escalade and put about $2500 in forged 402 stroker parts in it. Then with your cam and a set of AFR 205cc heads and headers motormounts, make sure to use the truck intake, more torque. You'll see 500+ N/A

We have one at the shop just did a refreah on. Forged pistons, manley rods, polished crank, custom nitrous cam, lifters and all ready to drop in for $3200.00 firm. Give me a call 832 866 7406 if you are interested. It just came back from a full check up and rebuild from Griggs in humble.
