I run with MSC (Motor Sports Club) it's TWS, official club. I work almost every event out there. I'll be there next weekend with Driver's Edge but i'll be standing on corner.

So the double ls2 timing chain snapped and everything went kaboom from there?

See I dont know. I know the chain is broken but that could also be just the result of a high rpm sudden stop. Maybe the oil was accumulating on the top end of the motor starving the rod bearings? One bearing for sure was completely toast. We will see.

tight then i might have seen u there b4 ( my uncle has a spec silver miata with a red hard top) I ussuly come when the races are at college station and the new track down in south Houston (i cant remember the town or track name)

That is INSANE. Complete carnage. Sucks for the car but really glad you didnt wreck it. You could of easily put that SS in the wall. Awesome video too. lol

It was 6500 on it's way to 6800. I'd been spinning it to 6800 pretty regularly with no problems. I think the oil just started staying at the top end and pan ran a little low. Hopefully I can avoid that with the new motor.

ya maybe a bigger pan run 7 quarts and maybe keep away from a high volume pump...
