2002 Chevy Silverado 1500, Gets about 18 mpg & is pretty quick too.

Best 1/8 mile time to date is 9.60 @ 74 mph with a 2.260ft, Runs 9.80s on the norm @ 73 mph.

Oh & its about to be paid off too.

'06 Honda Accord with the 2.4L 4 banger. Gets me right around 27mpg in the city. Very comfortable, nice interior...and boring as hell.

Don't get me wrong, I love it. As a daily driver, it's everything I ask for: dependable, low maintenance, good mileage.

I just got a Jeep Cherokee 4x4, after reading up, they are very reliable & get good MPG for a SUV. Mine's getting about 17-18 in the city right now. I really like it, has enough room, and you can go play on some trails or if the weather gets bad, it's way better than being in a lower car.

I DD a 93 MR2 Turbo and I get about 19-20 mpg in city (even if I'm in the turbo

) But of course it's a 2 seater and I'm not running a cab service.

I have a 2007 Honda Accord Sedan (4-door) with the V6. Over my Z71 Silvarado, I'm saving a lot of money on gas even with the V6. I looked at the 4 banger, but I needed more pep. Love that torque steer!

I'm very surprised at how nimble and maneuverable this car is for its size.

I sat in every sedan in its class last year at the Houston auto show, and the Accord was the only car where I could sit comfortably in all four seating positions without adjusting the seats. And I'm 6'4".

The 4 cylinder is probably your best bet because of price. Mine cost ~$23K.
