DEAR GOD NO! NEVER USE A&D OINTMENT! EVER FOR ANY REASON! that crap will pull the color out. cocoa butter unscented, wal mart. 3 bucks cheaper makes the colors look deeper no matter how old they are. never wrap it, those are the two carnal sins of tattoos!

a&d ointment[yellow] will not pull out color ive got probably 20 tattoos that i used a&d on and it never pulled color now they do have 2 kinds of a&d the [yellow kind] you use for tattoos and the white kind [the white kind will pull color] its just like neosporin and vaseline

Everyone has their methods:
Main thing is, keep it lubed up as much as possible (not too much).

A&D works [What I used - Yellow]
Neosporin works [ What all my rock n' roll buddies use]
Unscented Cocoa Butter works [ Never used it ]


Main thing, stay away from Alcohol ingredients, stay away from scents (usually contain alcohol). Keep it clean and stay away from Jacuzzis and Pools for a while.

And don't start big, start small on a solid spot (I started on my wrist and worked up... and around and all about lol).


***Plan on adding abot 5 more in the first year or so after your first one, they are CRAZY addictive***

Go get some aquafor its baby stuff but works really well and helps keep the itching down
