Default Houston Nitrous Refill?

I may plan on spraying in the near future and I am curious as to who and where the Houston shops sell nitrous refills. I used to live in Dallas and had a Mustang that I sprayed and the refills were always out of the way and it became a hassle to fill the bottle. I live in the heights area if this helps! Thanks

use the sponsor finder on here to search for shops close, or look up other places in the yellow pages. You should call them and make sure they have it and ask how much.

Back from the dead...I've called a few shops around here (Gforce, MTI, etc) and they no longer provide refills.

Any new stations around??

Have you thought about doing it yourself? I got tired of running to have them filled and paying $5 a pound so I bought a gravity fill kit from Nitrous Outlet and picked up a mother bottle from my local AirGas. I fill my own now for like $1.78 a pound and it literally takes seconds once you have it hooked up.

Where do you fill your mother bottle? If the $110 N/O gravity feed kit works, I'm in.

The gravity feed kit works perfectly. Make sure your mother bottle does NOT have a siphon in it. Also, I freeze my bottles over night before I fill them. It literally takes seconds to fill.

Airgas sold me the mother bottle and they also carry nitrous. When my 56 lb. mother bottle is empty I take it back and exchange it for a full one. Go in with some buddies to keep the cost down?

Thats crazy cheap, cost me $175-$200 to swap out mother bottle (50lbs).

I called around to several AirGas locations in my area and was surprised that they had different prices. IIRC it's like $112 or something for a full mother bottle. I purchased the bottle and don't remember what I paid for it but know that I don't have to worry about leasing it now.
