That is a $500,000.00+ investment. Best bang for your buck if it's in the right hands that is....

It's a CNC machine, you can make all sorts of stuff out of metal on it, like oil tools, wheels, etc.

screw brokers, if anyone went to college and took a personal finance class, you should know a mutual fund is the safest and most risk free investment. I would put 100K in a mutual fund and not touch it till im 50. another 100K in more risky stock, and 50K in even MORE risky stock. Leaving me 300K i would take another 100K and setup my future children's college fund. with the remaining 200K i would buy a stock low miles GMMG SS for a DD. Then use my SS as a toy car ( i would alot around 30K for the GMMG and 20K for the car i own now ). SO now im down to 150K. I would help get my older sister a care home ( she is special needs ) and pay off all my parents debt's besides the for a 2 year period ( this would allow my parents to get caught up and actually save ). I figure all that would cost me around 30K ( way over estimating ).

So now that i have 120K, i would then take that and pay for my college and pay off the 10K loan i have right now ( OBU is gonna run me around.... 50-70K lets assume 60K).

Now all i have a a measly $50,000. I would take me and the g/f on a tour of europe and relax over this summer. Not sure how much that would run, maybe 20K if we splurged? So....now with that pesky 30K. Hmmmmmmmmm...15K to cerebrial paulsy research (sp?). Use the rest as spending money for the college years. Only using 200 p/mo.

Thats what i would do with the $500,000.

I would put $150k into a checking account, $250k into a high yield interest account

With the remaining $100k i would invest those into stocks/options

I would put about $40000 into DPDW and with the rest i would do swing trades with FRPT and RIO

buy a piece of land..build a strip center..around 7-10k sq ft..rent it out..sit back and collect rent..use that rent to pay for mortgage..15 years later..you will have a nice income !!!!!!!!

you wont need to spend the whole $500k to do this...if you have decent credit and a nice down payment..like 200k, you can borrow up to $1 million..for 1 mil, you can build a nice 7-10k sq ft strip center that should bring you around 10-15k in rental income..mortgage will be around 8-9 k a months plus 2-3 k for taxes..the rest will be for expenses.. put around 100k so you can support the mortgage until the whole strip center is leased out..

then you can just sit back and let the tenents pay off your morgage til its paid off and then enjoy the income..or flip once its all leased out for a nice profit....and do the same thing..with a bigger project and make more money..

spend around $100k in mutual funds/ life insurace...

use the rest to build you a bad *** car..alteast have some fun with the money!!!!! you could die anyday!!

thats what alot of my freinds are doing...well thats what alot of people are doing!!!!!!!!

You would be the boss, so if you still had a dumbass for a boss, I doubt you could do anything about it. j/k

I would payoff my debt. Payoff my moms house. Purchase myself a decent house (nothing fancy or over the top). Buy us both new cars. Then invest the rest so when it comes time to have kids, I will have their college funds set.

I would like to know if you did invest $500,000 with a broker what could you make a month on average? Or does it not work like that.
