car wont start

car wont start i was installing my raptor shift light. i had everything hooked up and i was going to crank the car and check it out. the car ran for about 3 seconds and died. sound like the fuel pump to me.. it tuirns over but wont run... is there a fuse or relay that i can check before i change the pump... or any ideas of what could have happened
theres a fuel relay under the hood front drivers side. but the biggest thing would be to get somewhere quiet, turn the key over and listen to hear the electric pump kick on. if you dont know what it sounds like try it on another vehicle.

yea i didnt hear it come on. but i dont see how it could all the sudden just go out like that
i guess stranger **** happens. do you have a full tank of gas? on my lt1 the intank flex line had a hole rubbed into it.
does it throw any codes?
but if it was me I would get a screwdriver in the end of a plug wire and test spark.
test the fuel pressure there at the rail to make sure it hold somehting like 42psi
other things could be crank or cam positioning sensor.

well i dont think that the ls1 has a fuel pressure regulator. and for ***** and giggles do you have another gm gas cap that you can swap out.. could this one be leaking.?
