Compstar LS1 cranks are made of true 4340 material and Ion Nitrided. These crankshafts feature main journal gun drilling and rod journal lightening as standard features. Compstar LS1 Crankshaft Strokes from 3.625" to 4.250" are available with either 2.100" or 2.000" rod journals. Popular 4.000 inch stroke cranks will internally balance to 1750 gram bob weight without heavy metal.

No its not! 4340 is the material an aftermarket crank is forged from . That is not the part number to a 6.0 crank. When you put up that it is a 4340 crank everyone thinks its a forged crank. There is a Big difference between a stock crank and a crank made from 4340 material . Like I said good luck selling this thing.

I can't believe that the mods are letting this guy continue to try and sell something that is by all accounts so far bullshit. all of this guy's threads about this motor should be locked until whatever he has is verified...

Eek. Considering the pistons and rods are cheap in this motor, and the numbers of unanswered questions, we'll probably pass. $1500 isnt a bad price for a shortblock if its right, even if it is a stock crank. Thats really yet to be determined though.

Really want to put something together with a callies crank and aluminum rods anyway.

Hey bro, Id suggest just putting up your engine builders contact info and let whoever is interested talk to him. You arent helping your sell much.

I Saw the engine and all the parts. Brian was showing them to me when i was at his house. Set up is clean. If only my income tax would come in i would take this off your hands.

It's about 1/16" away from gettin' the axe. There's a pretty nice thread going on about it in the Admin. Lounge.
