Last min, so I apologize. But wanted to fill in my ls1tech brotheren in on a dyno day we are having today.
If your laying around and have nothing better to do. Come out it should be a great time.

(We have all the slots filled as of now, but if you are interested in dyno'ing we can try to work you in).

HPD will be hosting a Dyno Day at Village Auto. on Kuykendahl between The Woodlands and Tomball. Across from Augusta Pine Country Club. Village Auto is a new HPD sponsor and would like to have a dyno day/open house. This is a top notch facility for regular maintence and performance.

Where: Village Auto. Addy:26211a Kuykendahl Rd, Tomball TX 77375 (Office# 281-516-7628 - Fax# 281-516-7653)
When: January 27th (Sunday).
Time: Starting at 9AM - Ending 5PM.
Who: HPD and Pals.
Why: It's fun!
How: Strap the sucker down and floor it!
I. Dyno Day Outline:
- Dyno a car every 30 mins.
- 3 pulls for $50 + A/F Ratio Sheet.
- 1HR break for lunch.
- Lunch servered by Hooters girls, yes that's how they roll at Village Auto.
II. Dyno Info:
- *New above ground Dyno Jet.
1) 9AM Slot = Jimmy (Jimmysidecarr) Cobra.
2) 9:30AM Slot = Cornelio (corny40) Impala SS.
3) 10AM Slot = Sean (Blown Vette) CLS 55 AMG RENNtech 1.
4) 10:30AM Slot = Jeremy (usminorth) C5.
5) 11AM Slot = Miguel (S/C Stang) Cobra.
6) 11:30AM Slot = Gary (Super G) Cobra.
- 1 HR Lunch Break with the Hooters girls!
7) 1PM Slot = Stephen (ZFSix) SS Camaro.
8) 1:30PM Slot = Duy (sc300) Supra.
9) 2PM Slot = Mike (M.G.) Z28.

Damn, I wish I would've seen this sooner, I used to live in Augusta Pines and my old roommate called asking me about it after seeing all the cars outside.d
Do you know what all they would work on? He has a 71 chevelle SS that he was wanting some work done to.

I know he works on alot of domestics, as well as the owner owns a GT2.
So they do P-cars as well.

Good to see everyone.
I got on the dyno just before it got sick. Here is my dyno sheet and a video of the run. I forgot to turn of the A/C and the car would not pull to redline on the dyno - not sure why as I did have it in dyno mode. It looks like HP and TQ have peaked by that point anyway.
Car - '06 CLS55 AMG RENNtech Package 1 (lower pulley and ECU).
Best run was the first run - 423.5 RWHP / 485.67 RWTQ
RENNtech claims 514 crank HP and 566 crank ft-lbf torque. Assuming 18% drivetrain loss through the 5-speed automatic, the RENNtech rear wheel numbers should be 421.48 RWHP and 464.12 RWTQ. It did better than that so I am pretty happy. RENNtech Package 6 on the way this spring / summer.

Vette is still being tuned - snapped blower belt last Monday on first pull. Hope to have it back on the dyno this week.
I know there were a lot of pictures taken and some other video, so post up.
