my sis worked for applied materials in austin and loved it!
i applied and am lookin forward to maybe getting a call from someone cause they treated her really well, just the couple people she worked with moved on to other fields.

good luck with the search. It took me a while to find some good companies but now I am going to start my second internship soon. Petroleum Engineering. You will learn a vast amount more in a real job than in school.... er should I say you will learn a different way. What really goes on and what you have to do in real life, not a perfect setup like in text books. I was Applied Math at one time too! Now I am the other way, Engineering with a Math minor. Funny how things work out

Does anyone in here work for Mustang Engineering, if so I applied to them yesterday at our job fair and I was wondering if someone could give me a nudge.
Also what is competitive pay with an intern job? Is there a signing bonus or anything like that? I'm just curious since this is my first real job...

If you want a more "unique" internship apply at Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio. I worked there for 6 years....you're not going to get rich there but you'll get some very valuable experience. If you're interested let me know....I still have some contacts there.
