Say what you will about Hyundai's and I can't honestly say I want to buy one, but Motor Trend said they wouldn't be surprised when Hyundai takes care of the year in one of their COTY reviews.

If you think that's bad the original Lexus' sedans were so close in styling to Mercedes' W126 chassis you'd be hard pressed to tell them apart at the time. Nothing new for an asian auto maker to do this.

Waiting for the first thread to read "I got beat by a Hyundai in my stock ls1."

Hyundai may have probems with that once us Americans get it and start ragging on it. We'll see how well they honor their 10yr 100k mile warranty.

Well you have to give them credit for upping the power level rather than sticking with the import weed wacker engines. Got the look and and styling of the european cars with more power for 1/2 the cost or less. Most likely a better warranty.

Hyundai BMW

I want to see the aftermarket start making headers and catbacks for it. Watch it sound bad *** haha. I think its great.

I think with the heavy body, and probably lack of torque, I don't think we'll have much to worry about.

The Genesis sedan (don't forget about the rear-wheel-drive Genesis Coupe that's coming next) will be available with three engines including the automaker's familiar 3.3L and 3.8L Lambda V6 engines producing 264 HP/233 lb. ft. and 290 HP/264 lb. ft., respectively. The top-shelf motor will be Hyundai's first V8 in the U.S., the 4.6L Tau V8 that produces a healthy 368 HP and 324 lb. ft. of torque.
