I have used the GC 0w-30 for the last 4-5 oil changes...but I have also found a couple drops of oil under my car from day to day because of it. Understandable my car is 14 years old and so are most of the gaskets but just for that reason alone I'm thinking about going back to a thicker dino oil. Maybe sticking with Castrol GTX 10w-30.

Let me also say this oil was awesome! First time I used it and drained it after 3000 miles and th oil came out black! To me it did its job of cleaning inside the engine because now I change every 3-4000 miles and it still has a golden color to it! To me that says clean engine!

it does? oil will break down and blacken due to high heat mostly... i've NEVER, EVER seen golden oil come out of anyone's car regardless when they changed the oil. Seriously. I always wondered if that was even possible. That's amazing if that's true.

Its not like it came out the bottle or anything but its is definitely not black. You can still see through it as it drains out and it is slightly gold. This is in my daily driven car too and I only put in about a quart between changes due to the leak. So that cancels out it leaking so much that it still retains its color.

Yeah, mine got changed about 3 weeks ago. It's going to be a while. That and I didn't use GC this time out of necessity.

I will be changing my GC oil soon, coming up to about 5k miles or so. Hope this has not been to long. I will let everyone know how my oil looks.
