When I did it it sucked. I haven't done many online but they took forever to send my completion certificate and NEVER sent my driving record which I paid for and paid to have it express delivered. I only did it because it was a deadline and I needed it soon. I would NEVER use that site again. They ripped me of about 40-45 bucks!

Maybe that was my problem. I paid for next day air, and it took 5 days. No refund and after getting my driving certificate thinking, next day air on that from the same spot i could turn it in faster, and NEVER got that. Called to ask if one had been sent/ordered and they for whatever reason had no record of it...but it was still charged. Refused to refund the money on shipping for either item or for the driving record that was never sent.

It might have worked for some, but i would never go through them again.

P.S. Have to computers if you're going to do it online so you can play on one and take the class on another

One rule of thumb. Dont put off till the last minute. As soon as you get the approval for the course, take it! (online of course). It was the most convenient thing for me to do and do not know why I did not do this a long time ago. I could have saved me about 10 trips to the downtown and cypresswood courthouse. You get the thing started, hi "next" and go and do what you want to do. When the "page time mininum" gets down to 0, Answer the simple/common sense question they ask you and move on. This saves you gas, time, money for parking, waiting in line, rude window tellers, convenience of your own bathroom facilities instead of a public one and you take take it at 2 in the morning if you get a wild hair! After one's around 8'th time in defensive driving, you pretty much know the answers without even looking at the content because it becomes redudant.

I was weary about that too but I only had one computer so I chanced it. While the video's etc were playing in the background I was busy lurking here without any "penalties" or such.

I actually just finished the course online through this website. I found it pretty simple. The only bad part about it is making yourself sit at a computer for the required 6 hours. I'd recommend it! I believe it's the same price as the 'schools' you'd go to as well...

I usually dont wait until the last minute however I signed up for defensive driving before my "1 year" was up so I waited two months until 1 year had elapsed since the last time. The course is really easy but honestly, what defensive driving course isn't? As said it's all common sense and if you've taken defensive driving before (as I have 8 times) it's even easier!

I would just find another place to go through.

+1 I've used this site 3 times. It's very easy and saves all forward progress and you can just get on when it's convenient for you. I did mine at work in a couple of days. I would just leave it in a background window and then randomly just click next 50 times, wait for time to nearly expire while checking back every once and in a while to click around for to prevent a no activity penalty and then when time was up I just answered the questions. It probably will take you 4 hours if you stay with it.

incredibly easy, but painfully long. you cant just sit back and watch... each page is like a paragraph. you gotta click the next button after a timer that varies from page to page. about every minute and a half.

you can half *** pay attention and just copy and paste the text of each page to a word doc and use as cliffs notes.

I just did this one. I had previously done defensivedriving.com, and getdefensive is cheaper and just as easy.

You can do even less than that. At the end is a review of the entire course. Just copy it into Word and you can search for keywords if you don't know the answer on the test.
