While this isn't a Viper site, I'd like to also express my thanks to the National Viper Club of America, and to the Houston Area chapter during this time. Everyone was moved by the display of brotherhood by the local Viper Club of America Chapter who took their time to caravan up to John's memorial service and express support for John's family. It was a very thoughtful and moving tribute on the part of his "extended car family".
I think it is best to avoid any unfounded speculation related to these tragic events. The only thing that is known at this point with any certainty is that John lost control of his vehicle, struck a tree, and was killed. To the best of my understanding there were no other vehicles involved in this incident directly or indirectly. This at its core is simply a very, very tragic accident.
I would ask that any further speculation on this topic please be refrained from in respect to John's family who have visited and viewed these threads.
