HELP!!! I'm having a bad issue
Well there are a couple of things that can cause this I think ggriffin59 if probably right the vent to the charcole canister can cause this also there is a check valve in the tank right where the fill neck attaches so that if the car rolls etc... tha gass is contained and won't leak out from the cap etc... They can get lodged in the up position, but not likely that it would have stuck, so back to the vent IMO. You can try filling the car up with it running and see if it works as your vent line is also connected at the manifold it is there to relieve presure on the tank etc... GL.
^^^^Good advise. THE DAY I bought my 01 TA I went to fill it up and IT WOULD NOT TAKE FUEL. Same scenario. Feather the trigger barely and get 2gal in 10min. Went to another station and had the very same issue. I decided since I was so low on fuel anyway, and this OBVIOUSLY was going to take a while, Id kill the car and save what fuel I DID have. Went back to fueling and had no problems. Now I can fuel up with the engine running, just something stuck that time and it had to be off.
Try fueling with the engine running, and then not as advised above.

I went to a cheap *** gas station and got it to work first time no problem. It also had those stupid vent deals on the end of the nozzle. I have no idea what was going on. I also went to Autozone this morning and the code being thrown was P0430 about the catalitic converters and I'm puttin on LT's soon so I'm not worried about that.
