Talking What do ya think about.....

the new Signs at North Star Dragway !!!???!!! We have one on the Track side of the Tower and one on each of the guardrails at the starting line.

http://racepics.nitroart.com/p/topma_mar1/423212

We signed up as Sponsors out there this month. Look for some fun and exciting weekends this summer... I'm working on setting up a couple of races out there this year, the new owners have really turned that place around!

Look me up if your out there... I'll be spending lot's of time there once the Nova is ready in the next month or so.

Lol...I wish! Wouldn't that be cool! Hit the big time and play reeeeeeeeeaaaal hard very often!

Nick and the guys at the Track approached me and put a package together that was very attractive. His timing was impeccable too as I was just about to approach all 3 short tracks in the Metroplex and see who would put something together for me. It made sense to go there as we like that track for running the Nova.

So it just made sense to go with it. BTW... they gave me more than I bargained for. Meaning that they underpromised and over delivered!

Props to those guys, if that is any hint as to how the Track will be ran this year and beyond I'll be very glad to be associated with them for a long time to come!

BTW... I cannot find a picture Gaylens' chute popping in the box during the burnout in the new car... he told me they opened the door and stuffed it inside and the squeezed off a 4.8xx or something like that. LOL.. Imagine pulling the trigger on one of those cars without a parachute out back! OMG!

Nice! I've been meaning to go back out there and check it out since it changed ownership. I heard they actually prep the track now.

Yea, I saw that too.
The guys I was with said that they wanted to hire Gaylen's pitcrew to stuff their shoots too! lol
Fastest I ever saw a shoot stuffed.
Yea, that car is just plain NASTY!!!

Congrats on the sign and btw...we took the neon out last night and ran Manny's twin HPP car(twin turbo'ed cobra, 988rwhp), and a 1,000+rwhp 76mm w/ a 150 shot single turbo Supra last night.
Got some nice vids of it too.
Too bad he is selling the neon now.

It was NOT Manny's TT cobra. It was Clint's who has the same TT setup as Manny and tuned by Manny but makes like 100hp less than Manny.

Quit getting technical homo!
I'm not sure why I wrote Manny, I know it was Clint's.

Gilbert,
Have you upgraded your computer yet?
Last time I was there, you had some serious ghettology going on with the laptop and computer monitor! lol

I need someone to upload the vids from my camcorder via an IEEE 1394(firewire cable).
I also have quite a bit of good footage...including the DFWSS stuff.
I have the cable, just need someone that might have the IEEE 1394 integrated into their motherboard or video card.
