My family moved here in '68 and had a house built in Wedgewood Village near Friendswood in '69. FM 2351 at the time was a 2-lane gravel road. You can thank the Space Program for that huge economic lift in the early 60's. And to think, I just re-watched "From The Earth To The Moon" on DVD and have just started re-reading "A Man On The Moon" by Andrew Chaikin. Regardless of it's faults, I love this city. Almost 40 years here, woot!
