Texas Mile
It was me that laid down the turbo GSXR 1K about 160mph! Damn Patrick I saw the jeep out there but didn't know it was you, and I never saw Tony either!
The best mph I had was my last, I hit 189mph on 10psi into a nasty 15-20mph headwind. The bike was mapped for 15psi so we were playing around. BTW the bike is fine, I'll post pics later today.
We also went down w my buddies TT Viper that ended up doing 214mph in 5th. I don't know why he only ran once on Saturday.

**** man. Thats insane to even think about. Eating it at 160 on a bike and being just fine. Pics or ban.

I wanted to go down there, but I already had plans to go to the Nationals in Baytown. Two of my friends took an older stock ZR-1 which I think went 150-155. I plan on making one of these events sometime soon. Parker, glad you are ok.
I enjoyed speaking with SW at the event too. We were talking about the badass ZR1 he used to own. Funny, of all the cars he owns, he likes his 2 C6 Z06's the best. That's a huge testimony considering his killer collection.

i had fun there on saturday..meeting Larry and seeing Patrick, Tiago and some more familiar faces out there..
Blaine, your car was one of cleanest cars out there..congrats on our 192mph...thanks for the blue tape..
we were so unprepared for this event..
my buddy's supra ran a 186mph..on a 100k mile stock motor with just turbo upgrade and a 75 shot...we drove the car there and back on 19" tires..we taped the car down and didnt even popped the hood once!!
Tommy(228mph) and SW(229mph) raised the bar for Supras so high that a pretty much stock 1997 street supra running 186mph is no big deal anymore..LOL

sorry i didn't mean to down play your fall. it seems as though it may have come across that way. i was simply going for, glad that was all that happened. could have been a lot worse....
