Default Exciting Morning

Well I was late to work so I decided to take the bike this morning because I'm able to get through traffic a lot easier and of course go fast. I was cruzin' down 35E south and hit GB since it's less congested. As you all know right now it's crazy windy these days, yesterday was 26mph wind, and what do I see in the road? A big 5 gallon bucket off the back of a construction truck. The wind picked that sucker up and threw it across the road, I tried to swerve but to no avail..........

I'm fine, didn't go down or anything and didn't really notice the damage until I exited and looked at the stop light. I originally thought I clipped it with my front tire because that thing shot out like a cannon after it hit me. Now I'm going to look into getting a set of race plastic since I wanted to get a paint job anyway. Be safe out there guys and always alert, this is the second run in I've had with construction trucks, the last one dropped a ladder in the middle of the road and I clipped that too.

Glad you made it out of that with the shiny side up. Had a close call with some patio furniture blown out of a truck in front of me once before.

Haha, yeah, or go faster. Either way I would have missed the bucket, but I was going the perfect speed. I didn't look behind me to see what happened behind me. I can imagine that some people had to swerve the bucket too.

i was in my old 98 z71 had a 6 inch susp and a 3 inch body and some 37 inch xterrains. a guy was in front of me with a full set of patio furn and wel the table cought some air and flipped into the middle of my lane. well long story short i mow that table over and the guy flips me off and follows me home and trys to make me pay for it.

lol me and my dad just laugh at him and i told him if he didnt leave the house right then...then i would hook his truck to myne and pull it outa my drive way. needless to say after i had the strap hooked up he was very willing to leave...

That's funny about that guy trying to make you pay for the table. I wonder why no one ties **** down anymore. Speaking of **** flying off cars, people never seem to want to get the snow and ice off their cars before driving down the road. Many times I have seen someone get on the highway with a big pile of snow on their roof or hood and sure enough the wind catches it and a big sheet of ice or clump of snow comes flying off and hits someone's car. I wish people could get ticketed for being stupid.

And just what do you guys think Joe Horn would have done? I think there would be a handful of people here already have done what the rest of us probably really wanted to do. You just dont go and confront people IN THEIR PROPERTY like that.
"Officer, me and my son hurried home because this guy was following us, I told my son to hurry and get into the house and this guy preceded up our driveway and came at us in a threatening motion".
