Its like any gig, some times it's a great turn out, and sometimes not so much. Anyone that has been out there regularly knows it does get a good turn out.
It was really bad last night due to the final 4 and the people that set in there and watch and hog tables. If you're worried about the wait to get in, try showing up at 7 when its suposed to start. There weren't many people there at that time.

Well me and the wife did not finish up dinner till around 9, then we headed out of Roadhouse and looked at clock and were like, **** that drive.
Sucks that the turnout was slim...
Glad I didnt drive that 1 hour drive last night at 9, especially for the fact no one would of been there.
Catch everyone at the next hooters, or next TwinPeaks.

Well Sat nights are typically busy at restaraunts. You usually have to worry about people having other plans on sat night too. That's why we always had GTG's on Sunday with a start time around 10-11. You never had to worry about having to wait for seating because we were always the 1st ones there. This is what the turnouts used to look like.
I will say that this time the turn out was small because I didn't go I had some other things that needed to be handled

I noticed a mention about the wait to sit and eat. We use to meet a little earlier and go in and eat and I don't remember really having to wait very long. Of course I don't care about waiting to sit and eat. We usually have a good size group too so that causes some of trouble

It starts @ 7, and they are not quite so busy at that time, but people seem to like to show up after 8. It doesn't matter to me when people show, but expect there to be a longer wait if you want to eat and get there later.

I'm usually there, but I was out of town...sucks to hear about the bad turn out. I'll be there for sure next month. We should do something before then though that people are actually going to show up to.

Well here in about 2 weeks I am going to have another GTG somewhere.
Too bad there is not a Twin Peaks in the middle of Dallas, That would be a good central location to do a GTG...
But I will be at the next one also... This one we had other prior engagements.
