is chirping at 75mph normal?
is chirping at 75mph normal? Well i know these cars are fast but i have been really suprised as of late...i never really got down on my car till the other day and shifting to 3rd at 75ish will chirp the tires in warm weather and my low trac will pop up and they will spin a bit in cold weather...just seeing if this is normal for stockish power? also the tires are raptors that have less then 3k on them...

On streets i can spin the tires shifting into 3rd at around 110-115. I don't doubt you're chirping them at 75. Mine is less stock but I remember mild bolt ons only being able to chirp in third.

I have found that it depends on the tires. With the KDW, I could occasionally get a chirp shifting into 3rd. With the GSD3s I have now it will spin for a second or 2 going into 4th @ over 100.
Damn Goodyears. My BFG drag radials will only spin a litte hitting second. My car is making about 80rwhp over stock but still.....
BTW, all of these are on the stock size 275/40/17s.

...and if I'm on a crappy road that's smooth, I can get it sideways in 3rd gear. 
That's because your car doesn't run...
Mine are KDWs also (old type) and they spin. I was around 100hp over stock when I was spinning shifting into third over 100mph. It depends on a lot to more than just power. Tire temp, road temp, surface conditions, asphalt type, tire pressure, etc, etc...
