Fast, sleeper cars painted in primer are an old school idea from way back. Deliberately and professionally painting a fast car in a flat paint scheme is (knowingly or not) paying homage to the street racers of old. My apologies to the probably 90% of board members who already knew this.
My dad had a buddy who did that to his Dodge in the 1950's

Paint looks like crap and the wheels don't go either, looks like an Earl Scheib paint job by a drunk hobo who didn't tape off the brake lights...
That being said old-school muscle cars in the flat like the old Merc's looked great, maybe it's the newer cars that just don't look good murdered.

Go nuts, they have lots of styles & finishes. As much as I like blacked out cars, when it comes to dropping that kind of cash on wheels, I personally wouldn't want all flat black, I'd at least have a clean polished lip.
This kinda reminds me of an old article I read about a blacked out vette that had some night vision setup & was used to run drugs across the desert. If I recall, it was a C4. This was a long time ago when I read this is some car mag. It was telling how a cop was just sitting there in the dark in his car on side of the road & had his radar on, then he got a hit on it at 100+mph or something like that but there were no lights or car to be seen. I don't recall the whole story, but it was pretty interesting, but then I've seen all sorts of creative stuff when it comes to transporting illegal drugs from all the emails that get sent around.

Everyone was like... that is horrible to do on a c5.
I did it anyway worse case if it looked bad I was just going to get the whole car painted Spiral Gray.
It turned out awesome!
Sometimes its worth the risk to be a little different

doesn't look too bad with randy's wheels on it, but i agree if you go murdered out, you have to go all the way.
save some cash, and buy some nice rims for it.
