Their talking about the 96-98 cars, I went to school with some one who had a dropped white 94 on white Cobra R wheels, awesome looking car.

Im going to have to call BS. Maybe if it had full bolts plus a blower. I had a 98 cobra with full bolt ons. I was lucky to hit mid 12's tops with perfect launches.

the 4V's really wake up w/ some gears...4.10's minimum. Add a correctly built suspension and the right tires, put the b!tch on a diet, and it shouldn't be that difficult. Oh, and throw in a good driver mod. It's probably not as common since most people throw bolt-ons and power mods at a car long before they realize it won't hook worth a crap, but it's definitely realistic....

Take a stock LS1 car and do the same (diet, gears, suspension, and good driver) and tell me it wouldn't be a drastic difference over stock times.

each car is different...I had a buddy with a 95 GT h/c and a lil shot and it would turn 11.50's all day long...on motor it would run bottom 12's. It just depends on the setup...the 5.0s can be contenders...the 4v's have potentiol liek some have stated...they come alive with a lower gear!

I got a buddy with a full bolt on 4v that went high 11's n/a with a good launch and one hell of a driver!
