Economic conditions

I am considering investing in a couple of Texas banks and just wanted to know how you felt about how things are going in Texas in comparison to other areas of the country.

They list Texas as having a 4.1% unemployment rate. The spread between what it costs them to borrow and lend is high and am looking at regional banks only such as South Side.

Ditto that. You need to wait for prices to go lower, even on banks you consider will outperform the financial market. They will all get dragged down by current market psychology.
