i have one of there 228/232 .588/.595 114 XER cams and i put down 390whp and thats through a stalled auto... ive seen a lot of companys with this grind and they all seem to make good numbers id say call up TSP and tell them those spec's with what ever LSA you want and you wont be sorry.

An MS3 at 1000 rpm is going to sound a lot choppier than a stock or LS6 cam at 400 rpm, per se. There is still a huge difference and idle won't really change the overall loping sound that much.
I would recommend the TSP 228R. That would be a good daily driver cam and still give you a good kick when you want it.

Get the Patriot cam , you will love it ! It sounds way bigger than it is and has great driveability even on the factory tune, but really needs to be tuned to be safe and to get all the power out of it .
