most people are tied up on sunday though. if we want the cruise to be big, we need to do it on a saturday, and i've noticed that most people don't feel like going to the track after cruising all day anyway.

I think people are just scared to run their car at HRP with a bunch of LS1tech witnesses.

Sunday morning yes, church and stuff, but Sunday afternoon is the freeist day of the week for most people. I would say that one persons plans and life isnt the general concensus of the group. True we would love to have more people but cant fit everyone schedule. THe track thing would be fun, but I think its putting too much together. Maybe just a cruise to the track and hanging out as a seperate event. I am up for either, on a Sunday.

I like idea of a cruise out to Brazos Bend but I don't see it working well with a trip to the track. I think Ross has hit it on the head, if you want to go to the track, find a spot closer or on the way to the track. If you want just a cruise with some good pics, go out to Brazos Bend.

Or a lot of us don't want to pay $20 for 1-2 passes then get kicked out for no cage/safety gear.

Not so much fun for me, I'd rather be behind the wheel looking over & giving the nod to the guy I'm about to cut the tree down on

I agree, Just do everything at the track. Those of you that want to run your car than run it, if you dont feel comfrotable running your car bc of all the LS1 tech'ers there and afraid to get bashed or whatever the reason, than just dont run. Who cares you know?!? Then you dont have to worry about the police hounding anyone or getting ran off. We could BBQ or do whatever there in the parking lot. Someone could even call ahead and say we have a group coming, they may give a group discount rate, you never know!! Just a suggestion
