It wouldn't have been so bad if the announcers hadn't mentioned the fact that he blew a 3-0 lead a couple games ago and got a win when the Astros bailed his *** out in the bottom of the 9th.

It seemed like the Astros were starting to turn it around until tonight. Closer blowing two 3-0 leads in the 9th in one week...

I would not know what loosing the lead In the bottom of the ninth is like, my team usually is the team that comes back to win in the ninth I.E Monday night Baseball, against the Indians Yeyyyyyaaaa... LOL, sorry guys but its good to be the King/Champion, With Draighton McClaine as the owner I highly doubt the Astros will know what that's like.

That was at the home opener. I was there and he gave up the lead. Thankfully, Tejada hit a walk-off.

Yea that was shitty last night!! It's too early to call it a bad offseason move though, now if he blows like 2 out of 3 or 3 out of 5 coming up then we can start to talk about that. If he saves 4 or 5 in a row everybody will forget about this. Closers aren't perfect and even the best closers blow like 6-7 saves a year, sometimes more.

Yeah this guy pissed me off, I was there when Lidge lost his mojo vs Pujols. But it is hard pressed for me to think of a time when he coughed up two 3 run leads in a week.

Thanks for the new avatar. I dont get to watch Astros up here in Dallas, so I rely on my ESPN alerts on my mobile phone. Imagine my suprise when I get a bottom of the 6th alert... Astros up 3-0. Then I get the final score alert (have it set up for end of 3rd/6th/9th innings) and Astros lose 4-3. I knew immediately who was closing as I actually got to watch that home opener when Tejada hit the walk off to save his ***.

Well...not that it matters much, but we were losing 8-1 today when Valverde came in in the 8th inning. He managed to give up a double and a homer and push the Phillies lead to 10-1. We lost the game 10-2.

Talk about some shitty pitching...and how about that power offense?

This team will probably be just as bad as all the analyst were predicting.

They may stink right now but I am still driving down to catch another game tomorrow. I bought 4 tickets for section 100 row 4 in the crawford boxes. Will still have fun.

Oh...don't get me wrong. I'm sure I'll end up attending 10+ games this season. I want them to do good. It just isn't looking too promising right now.

I'm headed out tomorrow night as well. Some friends of ours got a couple extra tickets in the cheap seats, so we're all going.

Win or lose, they're still my team. And I love going to the games.
