how hard will this be.

my buddy is selling me an ls6 motor, only thing is i have lt1, is it worth converting everything to drop in the motor or should just buy an ls1 casr and swap motor?

I'm no expert by any means but I'm sure you would be going through the same difficulty swapping to an LS1 as you would the LS6.

It was worth it to me, actually alot cheaper + its different.

Youll need:

LS1 Rack & Pinion/Steering knuckle
LS1 K-Member
LS1 Engine/Trans (PCM & Harness)
Modify the fuel system to work with the LS1, stock LT1 fuel pump wont work.

Im missing alot but thats just some of it.

I think itd be a fun project. You will have to splice the harness from the inside to the engine side though. Or buy my old one from Dirty30 if he still has it.
