People hate all the time, but when you look at the cars they own, they all have the exact same 5 mods as every one else does on their car, nothing different. It's a nice build, I'm sure if it had a LSx based motor as the only thing different people would be all over it.

You let me know when you do that, i need my car painted. Im sure there is SOME KIND of discount for LS1tech members right?

Nice car btw, im a fan of supras and this would have to be the only one i would drive.

Hotchkis Springs, QA1 Full Adjustable Shocks, DSE Sway Bars, DSE Subframe Connectors, Poly Urethane Bushings. I think the rear end is a Currie 12 bolt.

I have a nice twin turbo v8 project in progress. So if this car doesn't interest some of you maybe this one will.

interesting swap, the only thing i dont like about the car is the two tone seats, just personal preference though, they do look like they were well done. ITs a clean car and you can tell alot of work and attention to detail was put into it.

Why not something more exotic than leaf springs and a stock subframe, as well as old car steering parts? There are tons of badass chassis parts for these 1st gens now. Hell, slap a Supra IRS axle into next

Here is the TCI 4-link coil over rear axle in my '69, and the tubular chassis front clip with all modern suspension and rack/pinion.

Dare to be different.. that's cool. But don't be a pussbag if you post a conversion like that on a diehard GM site and get flack, you should know you are gonna get that kind of feedback.

I like the fit and finish of everything, that's really well done.

It's the future!!! Amerigapanese Cars, And its probably what GM will need to do to continue to dominate the industry and re-take the world completelly.

Look what Hundai is doing, stealing german looks, american horsepower to come up with that car they adverstised during the Superbowl..

No doubt a beautiful car. I could love it more were it back to factory original, but that is just one old fart's opinion.

Because rack/pinion has some bump steer and really serves no better purpose for handling, done it in my Bel Airs and other Camaros. Done it on my other cars and its nice to say you have but serves no better purpose. The rear leaf springs will support more power to the ground. I was told this by Detroit Speed of all people! Same reason why you see leaf springs in Vette to this very day. Trust me I have used every component ever on these cars, and they do very little to improve in handling. I have the Link setup in my '69 Camaro and all it did for me is make the car ride rougher, and it can't handle all the power that motor will make efficiently. DSE guys told me this! The 1st Gen Camaro is hampered by the location of the shocks, so even if you bought $1million dollar shocks it won't handle anywhere close to a modern car. Its just part of a old design that can't be improved upon, unless you tear it up badly and raise up the shock towers to the hood!

I'm not a pussbag whatever that is. haha I expect people to like it and not like it. Nobody is the same. Just here for some honest opinions and to share my custom car for everyone to see! Talking to 9ball and a couple of other car mags, you will see it in news stands in the near future I hope!
