Shops near waco I am ordering my LS7 Clutch kit tomorrow and I am going to be looking for a shop near the waco area to do the install. Are there any decent shops around here that will do a good job? Also, about what can I expect the install cost to be? Thanks!
DC MOTORSPORTS, David Clark, not sure if he still has a shop its been a few years since he did my cam install. Great tech, he's in waco

clark is still around he has a shop out in vally mills, there is a shop in hewitt also sts right off hewitt drive. i liv e in hewitt also, me and a friend might be able to help you with that clutch. there is a big group of us in town, Pure Dominance, have you ever heard the name?

I was wondering about the STS guys. They are about a mile from my house. I live on Ivy Lane. Everytime I go over there they are closed. Any idea of their hours or work experience? Yes I have heard of pure dominance and I have talked to Cody a few times but I have never been able to make it out to one of the meets. Once I get the clutch in I will be more up to meeting the group!
Is STS the shop right off Hewitt Drive and First street? I think that's Grant and Steve - at least, I've seen their cars there. I've only seen them there a few times, been meaning to stop by but haven't. They have a few years' experience, both used to work for Gary @ L&B. I wouldn't have them build me a motor or anything serious, but for a clutch swap they could probably handle it OK. Considering I've done clutch swaps on jackstands in a steep driveway, someone with a shop and a lift oughta be able to handle it just fine.

2 of the guys in our group have shops and lifts i'm pretty sure one of them could help you out with your install...hell RD (00pewtertransam) did my whole engine and rear end install at adams (427cya) shop

Well the sign on the fence looks like it says STS but I just drove buy there and there is now a sign on the front that says Central Texas Performance.

ok, I have been talking to 427CYA a little about it When all my parts get here I will try to get something together. FedEx tried to deliver today but no one was home and they did not leave a door tag so now I have to go pick it up tomorrow on my lunch. Thanks for all the help and I am ready to get this thing in the car.
Pretty sure Nitro Dave would not do a clutch or really any work on a car that was not directly related to one of his nitrous kits. His shop is strictly a retail outlet now. There's a small work area in back where they assemble nitrous kit components, but it's not a garage at all.
I only mentioned him in my earlier post as he and his employees would know how to reach Dave Clark... if Dave Clark is still in business.
Nitro Dave does know how to get hold of Clark. I don't know if Clark still has a shop around here, but he's still here for a while anyway. Clarkus needs to come by my house and help me set up my rear gears.
Nitro Dave does not do installs of any sort. His store is strictly for his nitrous business. He has no car or shop space at all.
From what I saw the one time I went by Adam's shop, he oughta have you covered.
