Doood, I rock more George Jones than anyone on the planet. I went and saw him in Beaumont a while back, they were selling shirts that said "I saw no-show Jones".

Did anyone say "Tequila Sunrise" by The Eagles?

I know they are classified as Rock, but some of their stuff is pretty country. Check into them. "Desperado" and "Lying Eyes" are other good ones.
