Didnt you already make a post a couple days ago?

How much you looking to spend. Edit you post under "Advanced" and edit the title to say "WTB: 99-02 LS1 F-body" than write in what you are looking for and how much you got to spend.

If you get an auto, the best thing you can do is get a stall converter. A good 3000 stall would be a nice first investment, along with a lid and longtube headers/exhaust. Don't blow money on handheld programmers like Hypertech. You'll just be wasting good $.

Just a little FYI...try not to use the "nos" term for nitrous. NAWSSSS willl get you flamed pretty good. NOS stands for Nitrous Oxide Systems, which is a company.

What's a TS?

and yeah, don't say NOS.

If I buy another F-body, the first mod I would ever do is put some Koni single adjustable shocks on. The stock Decarbons are trash... put some Koni's on there and it's like night and day how the car feels and drives.

But for power:
Lid first, cheap, easy, no tuning required. LS6 intake would be good if you get a 98-00. Then a Torque converter would be good, followed by Longtube headers, Y-pipe and catback, possibly gears depending on if you get a 2.73 geared car or not. Maybe a cam (and valvesprings/pushrods) after that. Bear in mind, it's better to do things together because of the need for tuning after most of the mods.

Could always go quick and easy and just put a STS turbo on an otherwise stock car.

It really comes down to what you like and what your goals are.

Best first mod = LS7 Crate motor... jk.

Lid, FRA or FTRA, LTs, LS6 intake (for 98-00 cars), P&P TB, Stall, and a Catback are all good first mods. Need a tune for LTs though. Of course, I went the smart route and bought a K&N for my first mod... gave me like 79 rwhp... lol. Stay away from handheld tuners/chips, air foils, smooth bellows, and anything else like that, big waste of money.

I don't think there's anything wrong with calling it NOS, as long as you know what that stands for.

Longtubes and full exhaust, follow that with gears.

Lid and intake should be in there too.
