possible clutch issue?

today while driving to lunch my clutch pedal got stuck. it was fine goin into first. but when i got n2 2nd and goin towards 3rd the pedal got stuck! i had to mash down on the damn thing and i pulled over. i pumped it a few times in neutral and it was doin the same thing. it would get hung up and the pedal had a ton of play. the pedal would then spring forward very fast after it would get stuck.

t56 tranny, z06 clutch. car has 77345 miles. idk when the clutch was installed due to the fact i bought the car as is bout a year ago. i myself have only put 2500 miles on it since ive had it.

wtf is goin on?

Your master cylinder is being a bitch. Bleed her and see if she behaves. Otherwise kick her out for a new one.

The issue might also be the slave cylinder.

Could be hydraulics, check fluid, if black start here.
or master or slave.

Could be weak pressure plate. This was the problem with my car.

now i do intend on replacing the clutch sometime down the road. should i just replace the master or slave cylinder?

im lookin at exo from textrailia.

If you do a clutch, replace the slave. you are already going to be in there any way, and a slave is around 80 dollars. Now the master I personally would hold off on. You could always change the master later. No tranny pulling required for that.
