Ok, so I just turned 19 on June 1st, and I have had credit for a little while now. I'm about to get an apartment with my girlfriend, and checked my credit score to see where I stand. My credit score is 719. Is this good enough to be approved for an apartment? Also, I have worked at my current job for about a year, and I make $25/hr. I read that this was a factor too. If it helps at all, I'm a Supervisor at Fry's Electronics.

Yes. a 719 beacon is plenty good enough for an apartment. Granted, you can have a high beacon without much credit history, which is something that is looked at as well. Sometimes they require at least 6mo prior rental history or want someone to co-sign. But given your score I wouldnt worry about credit being a factor.

most places also require that you make at least 3 times the rent amount per month.....thats basically it...as long as you have good credit, have been employed for 6+months and make at least 3 times the amount of rent you're fine.

719 should be a good enough score to get an apartment, however 719 doesnt really mean all that much. It also has to do with how much credit is asociated with the score, if you havent had any large loans you may have a high credit score but not much credit ( if that makes sence )

CA's (Door people)- i think like, $9.00/hr. plus extra if they find something wrong with the receipts, hence why they always check.
