its not on the count how many shots kobe takes or doesnt take people still bash the guy. he is one of the best players in the game and he didnt get the support from his team. my question is this to those who bash him: "would you be saying these things if he was on your team?" boston played great defense against him. its that simple.
there was a lack of movement from players on both ends of the court, and no one to play in the post. they would get away from what their bread and butter was with getting odom the ball at the top of the key and letting him isolate. he proves it time in and time out he can blow right by any of the bigs they had on the floor. the lakers deserved to lose the series after the game 4 melt down.
i really dont want to here the arguement that this team or that team couldve beat boston. that team was built to win the championship this year. no question about it. N.O., S.A., Utah, nobody was going to beat that team. but i seriously dont believe that they can repeat. too many teams will get better during the offseason.

Ur right its not the count of the missed shots...its the fact that his team couldnt lean on him to take over...he didnt create his own game, he let boston run thiers...Jordan missed many shots too, but he was never scared of the ball like Kobe seemed to be(first time ive ever seen this out of Kobe)....Jordan never gave up and his teamates new it and they felt it which in turn made them play better.....Lakers know that when they are down that bad Kobe isnt mentally in the game anymore, and without a leader no team can win.

**** no doubt boston was gonna win the championship this year. i just couldnt believe they got ran off the floor like that. dude its been said over and over in the other thread. there will never be another MJ!!! he might do somethings that might be reminiscent of MJ. but kobe no doubt is still the best player in the game. the lakers couldnt do a damn thing.
