windows and stereo????

Default windows and stereo????
Are the windows, and stereo wired together???
My stereo cuts on and off on it own, and when the stereo goes out the windows dont work...
any body else with this problem?????
it happens sporadically.....

You need to find a diagram of the RAP circuit or the retained accessory power this supplies power to both the windows and radio and works with a relay controlled by the BCm. I wont be at the shopp for another week or I could get you a diagram. Someone else here is bound to have one though.

What year is it? I have the entire wiring diagram for 97's outta the big green book.

it's a 99...
So I could be just the relay going bad...
I thought it was a loose connection, but I went through the whole stereo hook up , and redid the connections, and it is still losing power...
it sucks cause the windows go out too....

Yea it's your RAP. Has to do with the BCM, check the relay to the BCM and the connections on the BCM itself (it's under the driver's knee bolster).

It looks kinda like your PCM, but I believe it's black, and has a whole crapload of wires going into it with 2 or 3 big connectors.

well got the relay out, and it doesnt look to be bad.. but I cleaned the connections anyways, and I guess we will see.....
