Default DFW 4th of July.

What are your plans? We normally watch the Botanical Gardens show in Fort Worth, but I'm ready for a change. I'm in Haslet and don't mind driving. Where are the good shows/events?

I think we are ditching Dallas and going to Possum Kingdom Lake. Anybody down?

We need a ski boat though. My husband wakeboards as well and is pretty good. I know there is one for rent for $350 for 8 hours. Kind of expensive.

Even if we don't have a boat we'll probably go out there for some "much needed" relaxation from all the work we do. Anyone is welcome to come, we thought about camping too and it would be cool to have a small LS G2G.

Too many people get stupid on the lake and people wind up hurt or dead on the 4th of July. I stay away from lakes on Memorial Day and the 4th; I just go when everyone else is at work.

well, i dont normally celebrate the 4th of July... but for Independence Day I like to watch a good fireworks show. Rangers Ballpark usually has a good one.
