INTRODUCTORY TO THURSDAY/SUNDAY NIGHT CAR CLUB MEETING.


HELLO MY NAME IS JASON EARL. I WOULD LIKE TO INTRODUCE TO YOU A FAMILY ORIENTATED CAR CLUB MEET. THIS MEET IS FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS WHO WOULD LIKE TO SHOW OFF THEIR CARS IN A RESPECTFUL MANOR. WE WELCOME ALL PARTICIPANTS AND THEIR FAMILIES AND THEIR CARS, TRUCKS, BIKES, ECT. ALL YEARS ARE WELCOME WHICH MAKES THIS AN OPEN CAR MEET TO ANYONE.

HOWEVER, THERE MUST BE A SET OF GUIDELINES TO FOLLOW; FOR NOT ONLY THE PARTICIPANTS, AND THE RESPECTFUL ESTABLISHMENT WILLING TO LET US HAVE THIS MEETING. THESE GUIDELINES ARE AS FOLLOWS AND WILL BE FOLLOWED BY ALL PARTICIPANTS.

THESE GUIDELINES ARE SET TO ENSURE A FAMILY ORIENTATED MEET FOR THE PARTICIPANTS AND ESTABLISHMENT. THESE GUIDELINES HAVE BEEN READ AND AGREED UPON BY MYSELF AND CAVENDARS AND MUST BE FOLLOWED AT ALL TIMES OR CAVENDERS HAS THE RIGHT TO NOT ALLOW THIS MEET TO HAPPEN AND ASK THAT ALL FUTURE MEETS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.


GUIDELINES FOR THURSDAY NIGHT MEET

1. NO DRUGS AND ALCOHOL WEAPONS ON SITE OF CAVENDERS

2. MUSIC WILL ONLY BE ALLOWED AT A RESPECTFUL LEVEL

3. NO REVVING OF ENGINES AND NO BURNOUTS

4. THERE WILL BE NO STREET RACING ALLOWED AROUND OR NEAR CAVENDERS

5. THERE WILL BE NO FIGHTING TOLERATED

6. ALL PARTICIPANTS VEHICLES OR BIKES MUST HAVE CURRENT REGISTRATION AND INSPECTION TAGS

7. THERE WILL BE NO FUN RUNS OR STREET RACING AROUND THE MEET DUE TO EVERYONES SAFETY

8. THERE WILL BE NO DRIFTING ALLOWED IN OR AROUND THE MEET ONCE AGAIN DUE TO EVERYONES SAFETY

9. ALL TRASH WILL BE THROWN AWAY OF TAKEN WITH YOU --- THERE WILL BE NO LITTERING AT OR AROUND CAVENDERS



THESE GUIDELINES MUST AND WILL BE FOLLOWED AT ALL TIMES




VIOLATIONS OF DRUGS AND ALCOHOL,FIGHTING, STREET RACING,
AND/OR DRIFTING YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE MEET.


THIS MEET WILL BE VISITED REGULARLY BY HARRIS COUNTY SHERIFFS DEPUTYS

The meet is at 1960 and kurkendahl in the cavenders parking lot
noth side of Houston

 

if this is anything like what i remember all im a say is just be safe and have good judgement out there

 

will not be going... after the amount of rice that was there... and me almost getting t-boned by some "tokyo drifters" i will never go to a meet there...

That and the jackasses riding wheelies on ATV's almost hitting some woman...

no way... never...

You dont have to worry about street racing there... most of those cars cannot crack 80

Yep. I went 2 or 3 times and that was enough for me.

Plus, there is construction everywhere around there.

 

Have you checked out the 2920 meet ???? Seems like a really good crowd out there....you should stop by sometime "Bro"

 

look this is not a detriment to the 2920 meet,that is on thursday not friday.i go out there on fridays.this is for those who have nothing to do on thursday or sundays.we welcome all who want to come out .all makes and models not just imports.

 

yes we have written promission by cavenders and have contact with a few officers to patrol the area.alot of difference than a few years back ,one)it is runned by people from the community,not people here for school.2)been to many meets.3)got enough people to help out ewith the meet.

 

Yeah I heard about that one, might have to swing by and check it out.

 

This meet can not even be compared to 2920...My car will not even get in the parking lot (too low)...and just like the 2920 meet, it will draw the same ppl that went there before...

We had a really good crowd before we went away...so when it started back the good calm ppl returned...

This meet has always been full of "Ricers" ....They will return

 

I think he meant distance wise its closer compared to 2920. Of course they are both within 10 miles of each other. I could be wrong though.

 

no body was sayin it is or might be tryin to draw people here over the 2920 meet nor is any1 worried about it... we are all just stating our previous experiences with this meet. so until its been there for a lil bit and other people can chime in on how its goin i wont, nor will some others worry about comin out to this meet.. plus i get up at around 430 in the morning

 

I agree.....I dont think anyone is worried about it taking anything away from2920....The Construction on the corner and the Lot its self at cavenders are in very bad shape for a meet....Plus the crowd it has drawn in the past was just too much for me....I dont like feeling like I need to bring my pistol to a meet....lol

Anyway let us know what you think Grim.... I hope we are all wrong about it

Been going well, how about you Jason? Been busy as hell, just got back from Cancun, weddings it seems like every weekend, working, ya know the normal crap. I would like to make the cruise one Friday and hang out with you guys up there. 2920 is my old stomping ground. I c that you sold your truck, congrats. When I get the tune on my car maybe we can make a run with your vette.
