Hypothetical Question for you Racers.....
Let's say you have a nice car. It's yours, not your wifes per se'... but you both share the bills, so it's hers too I suppose.
And... let's say you go to the track one night. And let's say you had gobs of fun until the car broke.
And, let's say the wife is not gonna be happy about you breaking the car at the track.
What excuse would you tell the wife?
Any takers?

Jen would not be happy, not because I broke it, but it broke and we need to get it fixed and that costs money. Money we are trying to save, money that isnt budgeted in that has to come from somewhere else...

yet another reason why you never get a performance car together with your wife...
make that bish all yours that way if/when it breaks... its your car... and in no way, hers

Hell, I take HER car to the track and rag on it too.
You know my answer G. Be honest. I talked all my big performance purchases over with my wife. Not because I had to, but IMO it is a matter of respect. I'd expect no less from her. Plus I don't want to be a eunoch.
As far as breakage, IMO whether it happens on the track or on the road doesn't matter since this hypothetical car is driven hard in both situations and by both drivers. Plus what if this hypothetical wife ruined the O2's and plugs by being cheap on fuel? Maybe this hypothetical breakage is a result of running lean and hot from said hypothetical O2 malfuntion.
Just throwing it out there.
