Here is what i would say:

"Good news, had a kick *** time at the track last night; even better news, I blew up the car so now we can stuff an even bigger engine in than the 665!"

After you say that, be sure to duck because the **** will start flying!

well i dont know what you broke... or how expensive it is going to be, but i hope this isnt your daily driver, and i really dont see what the problem is. you were at the track, thats better then street racing, and its already been said, when you race the car your bound to break something. just save up and let the car sit for a while until the money is there to fix it. it might be time for a new wife, if she cant be understanding shes out the door!! i know im not putting up with that ****. good luck with wifezilla

Just use this...
There is a guy on line that went through 11 transmissions in 3 months, and he is still married, and his wife didn't kill him either...
(True story... I am still here, $9,000 later, long story .....)
I was under the dog house for a while, but I lived through it

Wow, I would say he respects his wife more than a car and his marriage means more than 93 octane.

Just my 2 cents.

Just park the car and next time she gets in it to drive it blame it all on her.

Yep i totally agree. Bottom line, its over and done with. The car is broken and there is nothing you can do about it. Just be honest with her, lying will just make the situation worse. Just figure out how much it will be, when you tell her you broke your car at the track let her know then how much it will be. Makes it easier and she may not be as mad. She wont be stressed wondering how much yall will have to spend.
