OK, seems that we are at about 14-15 confirmed, 3 maybes and 3 no gos. I have a call in to a guy that seems to be a freelance photographer for Car Crafter Magazine for a potential photo or 2....we'll see.

A little update...
I have been contacting various magazines about sending their Writers/Freelance Folks to our cruises. I specifically have contacted High Perfomance Pontiacs, Motor Trend, Car and Driver, Automobile Mag, and a couple others. I have a bit of interest coming from High Performance Pontiac so this could be a cool surpise if i can get them to participate.
I also was asked what the name of our group was so chose a new name...we are now
Houston American Muscle Association
So, all of you that have confimed particiaption are now members of the newly billed club. My Sister is a Freelancer for another magazine and she is trying to help me as well.

This is some info I recieved from Troy at Houston Performance Driving....
Advice:
- 288 is very open with few cops.
- Becafreful in Lake Jackson. The speed limit goes from 65 to 35 when you cross the bridge into LJ.
- Go the speed limit all the way to Surfside. There are many lights until 332 to Surfside. The cops sit down the cross streets behind fences.
- I didn't see anything about the Toll Bridge you will need to cross. It's is 2 dollars so you may want to let your cruisers know about that.

I've never been to Lake Jackson. What's there that is so awesome?

Made the run today and have decided o have our lunch at Nates West End which is right on the way....nice folks, good food, and reasonable prices.
Still have a bunch of unanswered PM's..I need to make reservations by next Friday so let me know if anyone wants to attend as I need an accurate count.

Weather looks good for next Saturday. We will be meeting at the Shell/Jack in the Box at 945-10am on the corner of Hwy 6 and 288 S.
I will have a printed map of the drive showing mileage markers to stops and areas where we will meet to keep in a group during our cruise.
I have 23 cars confirmed and 6-7 maybes that I need to confirm yeah or neah as soon as possible.
Will be calling Nates WestEnd to set our reservations for lunch on Tuesday, so need all confirmations by then.
Anybody else interested? If so, let me know now. All confirmed, please send me your email address to matt.brooks@fluor.com
