What causes this?
Not to change the subject but my 2 rear view mirror lights will come on and off after stopping and leaving the keys in the off position, both of my 2002 f-bodies do this. Anyone else experince this?

After installing my underdrive pulley, I noticed all my lights go dim and sorta pulse at idle, but I think thats normal. However, yours may be an alternator. Definately do NOT go with the cheap fix and buy a rebuilt alternator!! It may be under warranty, but you will spend more in the long run (time and hassle) replacing it time after time.
If you have an auto and an underdrive pulley, you may need a overdrive pulley for your alternator. Do the lights only pulse at idle? ASP sells the pulley for like 25 bucks and you can pick it up from thunder racing.

Verdad Gallardo under drive pulley is going to move your belt less distance in one rotation of the motor, therefore your alternator is not going to spin as fast as did with the other pulley. an overdrive pulley for alternator would bring the rotations closer to stock.
