UPDATE! The one who attacted and stole Chris's GTO has been arrested!
So early on while at the Plano meet Chris called me and said that the police has arrested someone that was in possesion of Chris's pistol that was in his car. At the time he called the police were on their way to pick him up to do a line up. Just before I left the meet he called again and said that he had successfull picked him out of a photo lineup. Accoriding to Chris the police had recieved an anonymous tip that led to his arrest. The assaulter has two places of residences that will be searched tommorow and the police think the car may be in one of the trailers on the warehouse lot next to one of the residences. The guy was a truck driver by trade and this wasn't his first offense. Thats all I have but will relay more when I get the info.

you would think after steeling a car like that you would lie low, tuck it in a garage somewhere and part it out or something. I'm curiuos as to who gave teh police the anonymous tip!

whoever it was is a Damn Hero in my book. If u have a friend or a relative that steals I say turn there asses in, if u dont, you are just as guilty as if u commited the crime yourself.

Must have been 12 hard miles! I'm glad he's okay, and that the car seems to be the same. Either he didn't leave the manual in the car or the thug wasn't smart enough to read it! I'm sure it was a happy reunion!

thats awesome. not very often they find these people, but it was a different car then most, made it easy to find it. i hope all of us are this lucky if it were to happen again. and i agree with nine ball. let chris "vent" a little in a room with closed doors, lol.
