front plate part 2

can the front plate be placed on either side of the bumper (left or right) ,or does it have to be dead smack in the middle (law wise) ? ? im going to be putting my front plate on

...... i think it would look better on either side than in middle

last i recall it says "plate must be on the most forward part of the vehicle"

which is why most cars have it in the middle

It's open to interpretation, so they can't pin that on you. Therefor, no, it's not specific.
