underdrive crank pulley

I wish I would have had your luck lol.
In my exp, a A4 F-body may have problems while an M6 does not. This is due to the slower idle speed on the A4. I did a UD crank pulley on my '94 Z28 A4 and it did not charge at idle (~725-750 RPM). I put an ASP UD crank pulley on my '99 Z28 M6 and it charges at idle (~850-900 RPM) and I've never had a problem. On the '94, I got an OD pulley for the alt and the problem was solved.
Of course it will depend on how much of an underdrive ratio the UD pulley actually is, along with some other factors like if you are running an amp etc.
i've had my pulley on my M6 car for over a year and no charging/dimming issues here.
if you are going to install it yourself, be aware that the torque spec on that bolt is 250ft-lbs, so you better have a friend with a big *** torque wrench. and get your car as high as humanly possible in the air, cuz you'll need some leverage to get it on that far.
