question about wheel fabrication

i was just curious if anyone in the houston area would be able to/ or give me a price estimate as to how much it would cost to widen my rear wheels. i like the look of the factory 10 spokes but want the the 17x11 style.

Usually about $400-500 per wheel. Even then, they still require a spacer to get the right offset. Not worth the hassle, IMHO.

Whoa, I've seen it done for $100 per wheel... I actually priced having one of my ZR1 Spare rims narrowed to use in my spare tire well. $80 to Narrow...

I could be off, but I swear they told me $100 to widen...

It's a wheel shop in Dallas that fixes curb rash and that sort of stuff. I have no idea what the name of the place is, I had it priced though my dad's shop.

Let me see if I can get the messege relayed back to me through them. I'm interested in getting my ZR1 Narrowed as well...

try hubcap depot off of dixie farm road by ellington afb they repaired my c5 wheels when i cratered them.

do you know if they alter wheel width? or just do repairs?

i would think they could alter the width because on mine they had to removed the inner bead area and replaced it. this way back before you could get a full set of wheels for $300.
