I agree, would make a great investment and will appreciate nicely over time, but (IMO) it's way overpriced for it's current value.

I get it its just knowing what you are getting which is basically a $10K car (being very generous here) for $150K just because a famous guy hired someone to do work to it so that he could put his name on it is like buying Jennifer Aniston's used chewing gum.

Still would be about 10k too much for that car. We're talking an LT1 here..

A collector car with WAY too many miles on it. If you have a collector car it should have under 10k IMO, if you expect a big return on your investment... as this guy CLEARLY does!!

yeah, the miles will be what kills him, but they're still not too too bad.

To the people unclear on the concept - it could be a v6 and it wouldn't matter, it's 1 of 3 signed by Dale Earnhardt. I'm not saying it's worth 150K, it could be, but it's definitely worth a lot. I didn't even know they made an LT1 version. The above post about Dale Jr. having one, you're right, it's the LS1 version, and it's called an Intimidator SS and actually had the option for a pretty potent built LS1 in it. The cars were built at GMMG, and the motors built by Dale Earnhardt Inc. All cars came with a special guage cluster, most had Dale's signature lithographed on the tach, but a small number were actually signed by Dale on the tach, and those are worth some big $$$$$
